Everyone and their mom has Facebook page now-a-days (literally). With so many people on Facebook, why not use it to get the word out about being green? I’ve listed a couple of groups and apps you can add to your profile to let others know that you are green and care about the environment. Some of the apps state that they donate money when you use them to help save the rainforest. Whether this is true or not, I don’t know, but it can’t hurt to join anyways.

Many people find boating to be a very entertaining and relaxing sport. However, boats require a lot of upkeep, including cleaning them. If you clean your boat with harsh chemicals, these chemicals get released into the water, which is not healthy for the fish or those swimming in the water.
Luckily, there are organic and natural alternatives so you can clean your boat or watercraft the green way.
