Eco Lingo – “FSC”

24 February 2009 No Comment

Have you ever seen the FSC Certified symbol on something you bought? Well this is what it means.

This week’s Eco Lingo is “FSC”

FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council. It is an international, non-profit organization devoted to protecting the world’s forests. When a product has the FSC label on it, it means that they make their product using sustainably managed forests. This is a great thing for our forests, so you should try to buy products that are FSC certified to help preserve the forests for future generations.
